Beautylish Haul
11:38
I first attempted to place this order on October 8th, however there was an error I kept receiving on the payment page. The following morning I woke up to an email from Nils at Beautylish, apologising for the inconvenience, and giving me a $10 credit against my account. Beautylish continuously surprise me with their phenomenal level of customer service!
I ended up spending more than $100 USD, so I received free express shipping from San Fransisco to Perth. My order was shipped on the 11th, and it arrived 3 days later on the 14th. Shipping is always fully tracked by Fed Ex, and I received updates via text message about the packages delivery. Here's what I picked up;
I don't think I have ever repurchased a face product as many times as I have the It Cosmetics Your Skin But Better CC+ Cream. Upon realising I was down to my last few pumps, I had to repurchase. I picked up another tube in shade Light (32ml) ($38 USD = $50 AUD), and a travel size (12ml) in shade Medium ($15 USD = $20) in preparation for summer. If you haven't tried this product before, I cannnot recommend it highly enough. Particularly for you dry skinned beauties, this product sits beautifully on the skin and is luminous, even when set.
Bottom; shade Light. Top; shade Medium.
Jeffree Star Velour Liquid Lipstick in Leo ($18 USD = $24). Jeffree Star's formula of liquid lipstick is easily my favourite that I've tried to date. So, I obviously had to pick up his latest shade, Leo. Actually, I picked up two by accident. It is described as a 'true matte honey brown', which I would agree with. On my light skin, it does appear darker than expected. Wether you're in the US going into fall, or in Australia moving into summer, the warmth of this shade makes it a great for any season. Below is a swatch of Leo compared to Gemini and Androgyny.
Top to bottom; Leo, Gemini, and Androgyny.
Lastly, the item I was most excited about, Charlotte Tilbury Filmstar Bronze & Glow Light to Medium. This item is pricey at $68 USD ($89 AUD), but the quality and formula is so phenomenal that it is entirely worth it. I bought this as I've loved the bronzer shade in the Instant Palette so much I needed it in larger size. Although similar in both formula and shade, it was not the same as I anticipated.
The swatches below compare the Charlotte Tilbury Bronze and Glow to her Instant Palette. The bronzer shade (left) from the Instant Palette has more of a cooler undertone than the bronzer from the Bronze and Glow. Although warmer, I'm still finding it good for 'brontouring'. The formula of these is very similar, however the Bronze and Glow shade is a little sheerer, and has a slight, yet unnoticeable shimmer. In comparison, the highlighter shades are very similiar, although I do find the Bronze and Glow highlighter to be brighter.
Left to right; bronzer from Instant Palette, bronze from Bronze and Glow, highlighter from Instant palette, and highlighter from Instant palette.
This post isn't sponsored, I just genuinely bloody love ordering off Beautylish, and am so happy I have access to so many brands I wouldn't otherwise be able to purchase.
Thanks for reading!
